The New Indigenous Student Welcome will be hosted by the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre for First Nations, Métis and Inuit students new to USask.

 The welcome will provide you with:

• Welcome and orient first-year Indigenous students to the University of Saskatchewan and the Gordon Oakes Red Bear Student Centre in a way that fosters a sense of belonging and community.
• Introduce students to the Centre’s staff, programs, and services and the Office of the Vice Provost Indigenous Engagement team.
• Connect new students with their peers to encourage early relationship-building and support networks.
• Enjoy icebreakers, mini expo, candy bar and a scavenger hunt.
